After 4 months of healing, the permanent All-On-4В® prosthesis will be secured directly to the dental implants and will function and look like natural teeth. Case Scenario A female patient visited The Dental Implant Center for a comprehensive evaluation. The All-on-4 concept is based on the optimal number of four implants for supporting an edentulous jaw with a complete arch prosthesis. The concept benefits from posterior tilting of the two distal implants with a maximum of a two-teeth distal cantilever in the prosthesis ( Figure 27-1 ).
All-On-4В® is the modern solution to replace a full arch of missing, irreversibly damaged, or advanced, non-treatable gum disease affected teeth. A patient requiring All-On-4В® treatment was able to leave the surgery with a complete smile reconstruction.
